What Can You Put in a Dumpster Rental?
The Do’s and Don’ts of Open Top Disposal.

Dumpster rentals are great for numerous projects, (see our additional blog posts for further information).
You load them, call for a pickup and the mess is hauled away.
However, you can’t just throw anything in a rental dumpster, so knowing what is allowed before renting is essential! Please see below.

Make the Most of Your Dumpster Rental—The Right Way

Now that you know what can (and can’t) go into a dumpster, you’re already ahead of the game. Understanding these guidelines not only helps you avoid unexpected fees, but it also ensures your waste is handled responsibly and in line with local environmental regulations.

Dumpster rentals are one of the most efficient tools for managing waste during home renovations, cleanouts, landscaping projects, or small-scale construction work. With the right preparation, they simplify cleanup, save countless trips to the landfill, and give you more time to focus on your actual project instead of the mess it creates.

Whether you’re clearing out a garage, replacing a roof, or managing event waste, our 10-yard open top dumpsters are the perfect size for most residential and light commercial needs. They’re compact, driveway-friendly, and tough enough to handle heavy debris like concrete, shingles, or brick.
